Best processor for overclock

if ur using Asus Maximus mobo and Zalman 9700 u could get around 3.8ghz , but u should have good 800mhz CL4 rams

I hope you are right don't know what is wrong? Time to get into some serious overclocking! lol

Mine is 1 GB Micron DDR2 ram. Does the make and manufacturer of Ram also affects overclocking? I never thought in this way!

RAM: x2 1GB sticks of PC8500 Crucial Ballistix Tracer RAM and x2 1 GB sticks of PC6400 Patriot extreme performance Ram

i suppose ur using 2 kinds of ram ie ddr6400 (800mhz)and ddr8500(1066mhz) on the same setup which is bad ,try to chage the muitiplier os ram to get 800mhz which is ofcourse underclock for 8500 rams ,what to do put timings on 5-5-5-15 , keep multiplier 8 or 9 for ur cpu to get 3200mhz , so now ram and cpu are in 1:1 ratio , ie cpu-3200 Mhz : ram-800Mhz x 4 , if ur computer is stable after during Prime and PI tests..try again increasing cup multiplier and rams, test again ....repeat the process untill u get a stable overclocking
