    Zalman 7500 vs 9500

I need to take urgently a zalman for my core 2 duo E6600. I must take zalman 7500 or zalman 9500?

I really like the aesthetically 7500, I actually wanna know whether any of two models, is there a big difference in performance?

Do you intend to overclock? That depends on this factor what you should choose.

On the site of zalman for the model of my motherboard, i found abit ab9. I didn't check if that is compatible with the heatsink zalman 9500. Do you know a ab9 abit whether it is compatible with zalman 9500 or not?

I had already mounted that on the motherboard that was not in the list of the zalman site. It is working fine.

Then should i assume that there will be no problem of compatibility with my motherboard?

Resuming this old post to ask if the Zalman 7500 can change the led, I wanted to get the green LEDs, for instance green nVidia, such as mounting the Zalman 9800 version nVidia. Anyone of you know if you can disassemble and possibly change?

before using Zalman cpu heat sinks products its better to check Cpu clearance with a scale, usually mobos with passive heat sinks over chipsets like MSI's neo finds problems with 9500 and 9700 zalman series, the second thing is to check the clearance between PSU and heatsink so the fins of Zalman cooler will not create issues, large Atx cases like Thermaltake and Gigabyte Aurora wont find issues in this case
