How to overclock on windows vista

Does anybody know how to properly overclock a video card on windows vista? I tried Ati Tool that worked after installation but the restart dropped it. I also want to know a way to control the video card fan cause the stock settings dont do anything to it?

I also want to know a way on how to overclock on windows vista. Let me try the Ati Tool out & if it is updated the it might work on vista i suppose.

Have already tried Ati Tool & ntune but as ntune overclocks the card i cannot see much perfromance difference? An when using Ati Tool it dosent work properly on Vista? What about Riva Tuner, did anyone tried it succesfully?

Well, i was able to clock my 3850 to 700mhz in vista ultimate by using the overclocking capabilities in the Ati Catalyst also flashed the Bios first & everything worked fine.
