i have problem while trying to multiboot solaris, windows xp and slackware linux

Regarding your problem, personally, I'd do it in Virtualbox, it saves you a lot of hassle, plus, you can run 2 or more distros (depends how much RAM you have) at the same time, which is pretty freaking cool in my opinion. For instance, XP running with Linux.
