Windows 8 installation 0x80070002 on Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13

I am using a Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13 laptop which is already running on Windows 8. But now when I am trying to install the latest Windows 8.1 preview then I am getting an error code of 0x80070002 at 50% installation. I even tried to install the thermal framework from lenovo but it still wont install and gave me a error message that stated "Your system does not meet minimum requirements". Can anyone tell me how do I install this Windows 8.1 on my laptop. Thanks

First of all you need to download "Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework for Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)" for you Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13 from here - http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/...s/0tdf04ww.exe. Now go to the device manager and expand System Devices and uninstall the below devices by simply right clicking on them and choose the option to uninstall:
Intel(R) Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework Driver
Intel(R) Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework PCH Participant Driver
Intel(R) Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework Processor Participant Driver

Now, you can go to the Windows Store app and then install Windows 8.1 Preview. After the installation of Windows 8.1 Preview has finished then you can get back to your desktop. Now try to run the "0tdf04ww.exe" installer that you downloaded earlier.

It might be that there is a driver conflict when you are trying to install Windows 8.1 preview. And I can bet that it might not be the Intel Thermal Framework drivers. Also, can you try to update your bios version and see if that could help eliminating the problem. Also, try to uninstall or disable any antivirus that you are using on your system while installing Windows 8.1 preview.
