Blue Screen while playing RE6 on Windows 8

I am trying to run Resident Evil 6 on Windows 8. I am having a laptop that has 2GB Graphics card with Intel Core i5 processor. But it came with Windows 8. I installed Resident Evil 6 on it. There was no issue with the installation. But when I try to launch the game I am getting a crash error on the screen. First there was some error on screen but later on there is a blue screen crash. It is really a serious bug. I went inside Event Log and found that the problem lies with the game launcher. How to fix it.

That weird. I do not think Windows 8 might not support new games. It is better if you dual boot your system installing Windows 7 on the one side. Because on you got Windows 7 you can simply get tons of applications without worrying about the compatibility stuff. In Windows 8 there can be some problem with files. As per my experience it must work. This kind of problem were on Vista common but later on when Microsoft released Windows 7 things are working well.

I think you are getting that problem due to pirated game. There are many users who download game from torrent and then use keygens to patch them. And that can be the cause of crash. It is better if you test a demo of any latest game that you can download from official website. You can download them and perform a setup and then check back. And if you are not having a pirated edition of game then it is recommended that you must simply contact the vendor to send you a working copy.

Can you paste the complete error code here that you find in Event Log. On that basis it would be more helpful to troubleshoot the problem. I got the error when I was trying to install Assassins creed. I got the setup from my friend. I am not quiet sure which file was causing but, but later on I downloaded a demo and it worked well. There was some problem with the cd itself. Blue screen is a serious bug. You must not run the setup back again to avoid that.

Are you getting that error frequently. Means even before installing the game. If yes then there is problem with ram. Just to verify your hardware you can download a ram test application that will give you more information on the hardware. On that basis you can simply find out where the actual issue lies. It is also necessary that you must paste the complete even log here so that on the basis of error code you can get more better solutions.
