Which operating system have you installed in your machine? Is it a pc or a laptop? You will need your operating system bootable disc to perform a repair installation which will fix this error message that you are getting. Put the cd in the cd/dvd drive and then boot from it and you will come to a screen where you have to choose the repair installation.
