Graphics are very slow in Mac OS X Lion with ATI Radeon HD 2600

Hi friends I have desktop computer in which I have recently upgrade the operating system with Mac OS X Lion. In my computer everything we4re going fine but after updating with Mac OS X Lion it has started giving me problems. Now graphics in my computer are very slow and very choppy. Whenever I try to use the computer after sleep mode at that time also I get choppy graphics is this problem related to OS or something else causing the problem.

yes I have world of warcraft installed in my computer and sometime I get the same problem while playing this game and also same problem occurs while playing some videos. in my computer I have

Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256MB graphic card
Core 2 duo processor
Mac OS X Lion

Now please tell me what I should do to get rid of this issue. Any help will be appreciated.

Its look like you are facing this problem because of the drivers as you have said that you have upgrade the MAC OS X Lion and I think the drivers which you have installed in your computer is not supported with this. you have to install the drivers which supports in the Mac OS X Lion. first you have to serch on the internet whether there is updated drivers for the Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256MB graphic card is available or not. if you find the updated drivers on the internet then you have to download the drivers for the Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256MB graphic card which supports in the Mac OS X Lion. now after downloading the drivers you have to install it in your computer. Now after installing the drivers you have to check whether you are facing the same problem with the graphic drivers or not. I think after trying this solution your problem will get solved.

Someone please help me to as I am also having the same issue with my system. I am also experiencing the graphic problems with my computer. in my computer I have 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB graphics and 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. As you have said that you have Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256MB graphic card in your computer then you have to first visit the AMD official website and after visiting the official website of the AMD you have to find your graphic card and then you have to click on the support and drivers. Now after that you have to select the operating system and after selecting the operating system download the drivers and install in your iMac.

Well there was similar problem occurred with my system also and after that I have tried to solve this problem by searching the latest drivers on AMD site but there I didn’t get any drivers updates. now after that I have disabled remote management , screen sharing, remote login, and remote Apple events. now after disabling all this I have restart the system and then my problem get solved.
