Cannot Login to active directory domain account after upgrade to Mac OS X Lion

Presently my Macbook Pro which is running with Mac OS Snow Leopard was linked and joined to my Active Directory domain through a mobile phone account. It was working properly and I was able to login without any issues. Just now I have upgraded to Lion and now I cannot login toward my account. I am as well not able to login to domain.

I have exactly the same problem. OS X 10.6, including all updates, Windows 2008 domain. If I have no connection to the network (network domain), but am traveling and I'll get back, then the logon takes forever! It seems as if he tries to find the login server and then eventually gives up and then use the application with the mobile account will continue.

    • Within the Accounts preference window, click Login Options. Afterward click Edit next toward Network Server Accounts
    • Okay, currently we're on the similar page in spite of our latest edition of Mac OS X. In Directory Utility, find the way toward the Services tab, choose Enable plug-in intended for Active Directory. Afterward click the pencil icon.
    • Previous to you click Bind
    • The nearly all significant option in the panel of User Experience is choosing whether to make a mobile account on the foremost logon to the domain.
    • Mapping panel enables the ability to link three attributes of UNIX (and by extension, Mac OS X) to the attributes of Active Directory schema.

You have to go in the utility "Directory Utility". "Services" tab. Click on the padlock and enter the password and check "Active directory". Fill in any fields and confirm. It is possible that a restart is required.

You tried to go through System Preferences -> Accounts. Then in Options -> Account network server. In the window that appears you click on the + and you type your field. Then the name of your computer on the network and the user name and password domain administrator.

Otherwise you can access the network shares of the domain integrated pc without making "go / connect to server". You just have to look in a Finder window, in the devices; you must have a "disk" that you can remove. You look inside and you have shares in your network.

The latest release of Centrify DirectControl can simplify even further the integration of Macintosh networks based on Microsoft technologies. This new version provides access control and Microsoft Active Directory authentication on Mac OS X, Linux as well as 100 different versions of UNIX. Specifically, this program provides an opportunity for any computer not running Windows to become an Active Directory client. For the curious, a demo version is available for download.

Several sites are having trouble using Tiger when SMB file sharing system and authenticate with Active Directory files from Microsoft. Although Apple has enhanced support for these activities, have found flaws in Finder when entering Windows and Linux Samba servers. In some facilities also has been the case that Windows workstations cannot access Mac after upgrading to Tiger. Failures have also been found when accessing Active Directory services, and some companies say they cannot access their accounts in Active Directory Mobile.
