    Update For Windows 8

We've have already discussed plenty concerning Windows 8 during the past, except Microsoft is actually gearing up to obtain developers aboard through the extremely predictable descendant to Windows 7. Microsoft showed off the most up-to-date edition of Windows 8 to developers. To place the icing on top of the cake, Microsoft gave out sample Samsung computers to developers attending BUILD by means of the Windows 8 Developer Preview previously installed. I would like to know what are updates included in windows 8. I hope that it has something interesting. I have also heard that it is the combination of Vmware and Unix.

It is known that the current Windows Explorer is not loaded with copying large files and many. Especially under Windows Vista and Windows 7 appears to copy many files longer than for example in Windows XP was the case. Under Windows 8 will work with Microsoft files now improving and will only display information that is actually important for the user. For example, if a user performs multiple copy jobs simultaneously, this information is not displayed in separate windows copy, but in a window.

The common copy jobs can be paused individually, a new feature of Windows 8. Now a copy job canceled only and is not clear which files are transferred or not, unless you manually check. Windows 8 is also now in a graph how fast the separate selections are copied, by which the user can choose a specific copy job to pause or cancel.

The fourth developer video to Windows 8 has been released. This time the focus is on the heavily revised file explorer of the system. He offers - known as Office 2010 - now also a ribbon (ribbon). So you have to manage your files much more functions directly available. Depending on the contents of the folder to fit the final tab on the ribbon - and then offers some of the most important features for MP3 playback.

Microsoft had already announced: Windows 8 will have two interfaces, one main thought for touch, like Metro, and a traditional time for practically unchanged from that of Windows 7. Build at the conference, Microsoft, marketing forces, focused primarily on novelty, namely the touch interface, so use with tactile interactions, but also with a keyboard and mouse. However, on a conventional workstation company, this very thought interface for the general-public, is likely to disappear in favor of the traditional Windows interface.

I heard that in Windows 8 Users can now easily identify which files should or should not be overwritten. Not only the name of the file and size is shown, also see thumbnails of the files and the user can specify which individual files may or may not be overwritten instead of this one by one to do anything.

Windows 8 is a bit like stepping into his favorite restaurant and discovers a whole new set, a new arrangement of tables and a menu rich. If you can read the menu and get a pretty good idea of what is served, you do not know yet exactly the taste of the dishes. Begin to Windows 8 is remarkably simple. On the tablet provided by Microsoft, the system boots in seconds.

Microsoft says no update existing installations of Windows 7 will be possible. Thus only a complete reinstall is on a separate partition or a second computer. Due to the expected final state of the operating system is not yet discouraged from use on production systems.

For a desktop or a laptop I do not see the benefit, Microsoft has a shelf for a step behind. In addition, as a developer I find it PAINFUL this profusion of operating systems (Apple, Android and soon Win8) as this represents a cost ever greater investment to develop an application bar (because you have to develop for several different OS and incompatible).
