Switch between 35 languages of your choice on Windows 7

On the products page of windows 7 it is described that Work within the language of your option and switch among whichever of 35 languages lying on Ultimate edition. I don’t know anything about it so far. Could somebody provide me further details regarding that? Is it really possible for me to switch the whole system to a different language my choice? Is it possible in Windows 7 professional edition?

Many emails come to us with questions about changing the language to Windows 7. In this article detailed how, but you have to first have in mind is that version we installed Windows 7. Depending on what our version, we have possibility to change language or not. According to the box features of the different versions of Windows 7 provided by Microsoft, the only versions enabled to switch languages are Ultimate and Enterprise versions, none of the others can switch to another language other than installation.

GO to Control panel / regional language option select and apply it. You don’t need to do installation. If the language packs are not installed then you might need to install it first.

I believe the ultimate prize has all the features not bundled with the Professional edition that companies do not need ... as a media center ... Vista Ultimate also featured extras ... you need to find another table for comparison I guess ...

With Windows 7, change the language completely all our operating system is quick and easy. In environments where we need multiple languages, this trick will be very useful and will not take hardly any time. If we did the installation in English and Spanish we want to change to go to the area ... ... Updates, control panel, windows update, there we see the system updates available and optional, where we click and show us the "language packs" will select the language pack, back off and install.

Once installed you go to Control Panel, Regional and Language settings, tab "keyboard and languages" and click on top of "choose a display language", then decide between English and additional languages that we have downloaded as well as installed. We just have got to "log off - log" plus open the session over again and we will have Windows 7 in chosen language.

MUI stands for English Multilanguage User Interface (Multilingual User Interface). MUI language packs are complete (100%) and partial (80% according to Microsoft). The complete packages change the atmosphere of Windows 7 in full, partial packages lack some user interface and it is not always translated into English, regardless of the language originally shown by Windows 7:
    • Bootloader: Multi-boot menu, menu options Proof Errors, Memtest
    • Administrative Tools: Task Scheduler, Event Viewer, Services, Advanced Firewall...
    • Group Policy Objects (Windows 7 Professional / Ultimate only)
    • Some help files

You can use these language packs in Windows 7 64-bit RTM only (original no SP Windows 7). After installing a language specific MUI, you can install LIP languages on top of these additional. To determine the properties of your system (32/64-bit, SP installed or not) go to Control Panel -> System and Maintenance -> System or right-click the Computer icon in the Start menu and select Properties
