I have a Gateway T-Series, W350A laptop. I was trying to reinstall Windows XP on it. I put in the CD, and selected the boot from CD in the BIOS. All was going well for about 20 minutes, when suddenly the computer rebooted and CD drive was no longer selectable. I've tried everything I can thing of to get the laptop to boot from CD. I cleaned the lens, switched out the CD drives. Let the computer rest for 24 hours even. And nothing. There just is no option to boot from CD anymore. The only two options I get is 1) IDE 4: WDC WD2500BEVS-22USTO-(S1) and 2) PCI BEV: Realtek Boot Agent
Neither of which will boot from the CD. I've ran out of ideas. I've googled it and researched this problem for several days, and found nothing to help.
Any other input would be wonderful, thanks!
