Recovery manager state an Error 0x400110020000n100A in hp pavilion dv6500

I had bought a new hp pavilion dv6500 laptop few months back and now when I’m trying to turn the system on I get a message that the operating system is missing. So for that I had try to recover my system with the recovery disk which I had got from the hp and its normally load the windows file and then I got a recovery manager screen and after that I got a message that the system will going to return in the hp original factory setting and I click on yes and about a few minutes I got an error and the recovery stop. Don’t know what may be the cause of it. Does anyone have solution regarding this?

Well after reformatting the recovery manager had ask given the alert that the system will going to return in the hp original factory setting so I click on next and about five minutes I got an error stating 0x400110020000n100A and it say if you still get the same error again and again then please contact HP technical support after that I had click on next and the process start again and after that I again got the same error. I think so might be the problem with the recovery disk.

Well if your get the error again and again then you must turn off the notebook and press the power butting and keep tapping the f10 key which will going to lead you in the bios setting and when you are in bios just move to the advanced option in that you will get the option for diagnostic and from there just run the diagnostics test for both hard drive and even the memory and just see if you are getting any sort of error over there or no.

I’m having hp pavilion dv6500 and I had done both the test from the diagnostic for the hard drive and the memory and the result for the hard drive is: test status no ide device and the result for the memory test I got result passes and it says to restart the system. And then I boot by system with the hard drive and not with the cd and DVD and I was not able to run the system and still I got the same error. Well I operating system from the disk have being deleted.

Well right the operating system from the hard drive had being removed and the error which is showing is a fatal error. And according to the test result no ide device I think your hard disk had being failed you need to replace it with the 2.5 mobile sata hdd and then use the recovery disk to reinstall the system. And if you dint get any sort of solution then you must contact to the hp technical support and they will assist you regarding this.

Well I was also having the same problem and I had replaced my hard drive and then reinstall the hard drive before I was having the 200gb and now I’m using the 250gb and after installing I had done all the setting and then I had restart my system and after restarting system I got an error stating that Problem has been detected and for that the windows had being shutdown so that there won’t be any damaged to your computer.
