How to convert Microsoft Office 2003 to 2010 in Windows 7?

Hello guys, I am working in this organization where they are using Microsoft office 2003 for quite some time now and I am very much comfortable using this. But now my organization is installing Microsoft Office 2010 on all the computers now. So what I really want is to ask that has anybody ever come across this kind of situation to convert Microsoft Office 2003 to Microsoft Office 2010. Shifting from Office2007 to Office 2010 is easy but from Microsoft Office 2003 to Microsoft Office 2010 a big jump and that is mainly what I have been using for quite some time now. So people please do let me know if you have any conversion guide for doing this as I've been looking on Google today but need to find out any good and easy way for this.

I think that shifting from office 2007 to office 2010 is really easy cause nothing much is changed in there and you can easily learn and use office 2010 without much headache and if you go online you will find many tutorials available online and as well as download able tutorials as PDF files. And according to me the only thing difficult is the office excels because of the new options added up in it. Rest the PowerPoint and the word are very easy for me. If you use outlook then it won’t be a problem for you to use the Office Outlook 2010.

If you are new to the ribbon interface in the Office 2010 then here is the tutorial to learn how you can learn where everything is quickly and easily done. Microsoft has made a guide to Office 2010’s new interface to help the users to learn the new version. And if you have already used Office 2007 then it will be easy for you to transition to Office 2010. But in your case as you are still using Office 2003 you may find it really a curve more to the steep. With the guide provided by the Microsoft, you will find it easy to upgrade your Office skills.

I think that there are very minor changes from 2007 to 2010. For those who are using it for them it will work really great. But for some novices who use it just for formatting a paragraph or a little bit of spell check. Then too for the offices from the corporate who are the power users of the word are not thinking to migrate from the 2007 to 2010. One of my friend just switched over from 2007 to 2010 and he just use it to give the professional look to the document which is impossible because you are not able to find the hidden formatting options. According to me the productivity is at the standstill.

I just bought a new laptop that came pre-installed with the Microsoft Office 2010 starter edition. But after I had tried for the several weeks to use it even my family had tried it. I thought to uninstall it and revert back to the previous version that I used for many years that is Ms Office 2003. But I’m also thinking to go for the Open Office Org. Compared to my family I am a power user but find this totally frustrating, I use a very limited range of functions and it would be great if I get easy access to them. I had previously made the mistake of getting a corporate discount on the Microsoft Office 2007 and uninstalled it only after few weeks.
