dell inspiron 6400 Error Message won't boot xp

Can anyone help me please. My Dell Inspiron 6400 wont boot. Initially it gives the option of starting in safe mode, normal and dos prompt but non e of these options work and return the error message which reads
    STOP 0x00000024 ( 0x00190203, 0x8A83C008, 0XC0000102, 0X00000000)
I tried to start with the reinstallation XP cd but this was unsuccessful. I don't have a floppy drive. Can this machine be revived?

It may be problem with your RAM. Just take out the RAM, clean it and again put it and start your laptop. If it’s not help than it may be problem with the RAM slot. So just clean the RAM slot and try it again. And if still have the same problem than surly there are some problem with the CD or Hard drive. So here I must suggest you to try to run your hard disk and Ram in other system. I wish this solve your problem. Let me know, if problem still persist after attempting this.

I think here you have problem with your Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop. Is your laptop in warranty face? I mean if it’s in warranty than you can directly contact to dell and they solve your problem by simply swapping the laptop. Let know what exactly the situation is.

What error / problem are you facing at the time of re installation ?

But before that, as per the error, i found a solution somewhere, where the user took out his boot drive and used it as a slave on other PC. While booting startup, it ran CHKDSK and fixed the errors. Once done, he put it back in his own computer and that it. No error again. Try it.
