How am I supposed to repair my Windows registry? I want to try repairing it myself. Please provide me with the necessary procedures. Thanks.

There are many tools available today (depending on your OS) for repairing your system registry but before that i would like to make you know that playing with system registry can caused permanent damage to your system. To repair windows registry, first you need to save a backup file. Then, set a system restore point in your operating system so that you can go back to a stable system before the registry is edited. Click Start and type in regedit. You will see the registry editor. Find the one that you need to change and make your changes. Save them, exit the editor, and reboot your computer. The changes should take effect after you have rebooted.
