    unsure Setting up public Dns and website in Win Server 2008?

    Hi all and ty for looking in !

    My question is what do i need and how to do it.
    I have Win Server 2008
    and would realy mutch want to
    host my own website and dns for the website.

    How do i do this ?
    ive got dns server installed on the Server
    plus (AD) Domain, (AD) Certifacate and (IIS)

    My Network has 100/100 Mbits
    and i got an router that has allot Functions, 4 lan ports and WLAN.


    PLEASE HELP ME !

    Well it is the long process to hoist a website but still I will give you the short description on the same. First of you have to determine the IP address of the system that you are using then must keep in mind that you are registering a domain name. A domain name must be register because you can’t have the similar domain name which is already assigned to other. Then configure your web server and then you have to create the DNS entry on the webserver and then configure the same.
