Windows explorer tree displays on the bottom instead of Top in Windows 7

Is there a method to set Windows Explorer in Windows 7 RTM while I enlarge a folder so it is opened and the selected folder is in the bottom of the panel, always have to scroll to view the contents (hence expanded in right way to see what is inside), and very old Windows folder stretched and was always on the top of the screen. Is there a way to make it work that way in Win7? To be honest, it makes Windows Explorer almost impossible for me simply because I get angry when you always have to scroll to see the folder you just opened.

OK, research also shows this is a problem widely known. It is more serious than a jump folder by clicking it. The difficulties also takes place when doing a drag and drop to the navigation pane in Windows Explorer, which causes the files to land in the wrong place. IOW you're dragging a file to a folder, like its mouse cursor touches breaks folder under you, making your files land in the wrong place. The problem was reported before Windows 7 shipped, I cannot believe that was not corrected. There are many issues to discuss, I cannot say whether Microsoft has acknowledged a mistake or it still considers that the proposed layout behavior. If an error does not see any indication of the severity assessment: review, Service Pack vs vs next major release of Windows.

I would like to work with the mouse, not having to do other things just to get the same effect as it was before. Windows 8 So I have to go "please scroll down, the mouse, click twice, start again Windows and then can it be? That is where it goes when we accept lower quality and get used to it. I just want it to work properly, having worked in older Windows. Cannot imagine why something that was working properly the job went wrong.

Open Folder Options in Control Panel, General tab. check the box for "automatically expand ...". The PO, said: "When I expand a folder is expanded and the selected folder is in the bottom of the panel, What are you clicking on the panel in a while ", expand the" right or left? If I click on the 'arrow breadcrumb "folder in" The "jump to the top”. I guess I just have an incorrect setting.

I cannot speak for OP, but for me the problem this way (which I imagine is the same as the OP). In Windows Explorer folder pane have left =, right panel = files and folders. Click on the arrow given on the left side of the folder presented on the left pane, It will expand the folder showing the subfolders presented in it. You have to move the backup panel to see. Interestingly the problem seems to be intermittent. I was "automatically expand ..." already marked.

Not fixed in the final version. I have of Windows 7 Professional and is still there, plain as day.
The steps to reproduce are simple:

    1. In the left pane, click a folder containing subfolders
    2. In the same folder, click the arrow to the left of the folder name

While you do step 2, you will observe the left panel travels up to the chosen folder is the second from the bottom, thus doubtful the subfolders just expanded. This is clearly a mistake, and very frustrating in fact. It is quite surprising that something like this through all internal and public beta testing. If you repeat the process with the same folder, it behaves correctly, ie, moves the view so that all (or as many as possible) of the subfolders are visible.

This feature has been the same since as much as I can remember. Now it has changed suddenly and the behavior is now incompatible and irritating, so it should be considered an error. Should not have to sit back and accept failure as this. A solution is not an acceptable solution. The only acceptable solution is a correction of errors. I revealed that this occurs with keyboard navigation too ...

    1. Click on a folder - any folder that has children
    2. Press the right arrow on the keyboard.

Voila, the panel on the left moves back. So using the keyboard is not a viable alternative to using a mouse.

This is an obvious mistake that passes through the hands and eyes of many people incompetent and irresponsible over many months and nobody did anything. It even happens when you open a link pointing to a folder. Try it. Also, when you start the browser, either from a link or not, most of the folders open rather than collapse. Why? Keyboard What would you suggest to overcome the error? Something that does not fit here, but it shows the real way to think of Microsoft's what they do to keep the signed drivers. A number of manufacturers publish their brilliant drivers with very repeated updates, but since they decline to pay and alleged that "signature" of royalties to Microsoft, every time you reboot, Windows uninstall the good driver and replace it with some SH ** that the device work. One example among many is the Realtek drivers. This is a crime disguised to calm the money from the manufacturers.
