    iOS 4.2.1 protection removed Jailbreak

Six months after iOS include an API for the detection of unlocked mobile devices, Apple has removed this option iOS 4.2.1. The withdrawal of the API, not announced by the Cupertino Company, does not affect the ability of firms to detect whether a device has been committed to unblock. Anyone has any information about this? If anyone find any information about this than please just let me know.

The API was part of a series of management measures incorporated into iOS4 and allowed to audit the operating system uses to determine if the system had been modified through code injection, standard measure used to unlock or modify the IOS devices. It is speculated that the same API was committed to unlocking the IOS device, making this measure useless. Jailbreak the legality of the United States, these protective measures could bring a class action lawsuit for Apple to implement security measures that would prevent running certain applications on unlocked phones and devices, so that the withdrawal may be a way to avoid this potential problem legal in a time when Apple has too many fronts to be able to accept more legal trouble. However, this recall does not involve a surrender by Apple regarding the protection of IOS is possible that the Cupertino company preparing other protective measures more effective.

Here the first thing to do is upgrade your iPad IOS 4.2, this can be done by downloading the firmware from the link provided in the apple site (after that click the shift key held on the "update") or let the iTunes directory I download and upgrade. Later than updating our IPAD (for any of the methods considered), unlock the redsn0w 0.9.6b5, click on the Browse button and choose the firmware 4.2 you downloaded.
