troubleshoot problems with Windows 7 Service Pack 1

I am having lots of problem on my new pc. I am here trying to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 on it. It was having Windows XP before but it does not look to be working fine. I had tried to fix it but it looks my system has no support for this new Windows 7 SP1. I was able to add Windows 7 but when I went ahead installing SP1 it is not working. The update is just crashing up. Can anyone help me to fix this problem.

What is the error you are facing. You have to mention that thing in detail. What exact error you are facing. There are chances that you are getting that error due to damage setup file. You just have to replace the same and check back. You can download SP1 from the official website. Just install and test the same. That will be enough to fix the problem you are facing.

Did you checked properly that your system is capable of running Windows 7 or not. If not then you have to simply revert back to your old system. Many outdated system face this kind of problem when you are trying to install windows for the first time. Instead of installing PS1 separately you must simply go ahead with installing it through the installation dvd.
