I have had a similar problem.
I have a Gateway (Acer) DX4831. I do not recall Disk 0 having 3 Partitions, but seems to have occurred as a result of a disk error that said "BOOTMGR MISSING".
I do know that 2 external hard disks and 1 USB data key (Disk 1, Disk 7, Disk 8) were labelled as "Active" - which I have corrected using DISKPART.
I am now trying to correct Disk 0, which I believe should only be a single partition.
This is what Disk 0 looks like in "DISKPART".
Disk 0
Basic
931.51 GB
Online
Partition #, Type, Size, Offset
Partition 1, Recovery, 12GB, 1024KB
Partition 2, Primary, 100MB, 12GB
Partition 3, Primary, 919GB, 12GB
In windows "COMPUTER MANAGEMENT" Disk 0 describes each of the 3 Partitions as follows.
Partition #, Volume, Status, Capacity
Partition 1, Unnamed, Healthy (Recovery Partition), 12GB
Partition 2, SYSTEM RESERVED, Healthy (System, Active, Primary Partition), 100MB
Partition 3, Gateway (C: ), Healthy (Boot, Page File, Crash Dump, Primary Partition), 919GB
Anyway, I am now trying to correct Disk 0, which I believe should only be a single partition. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark
