Search according to File Size, Date & Contents at a time on Windows 7

I have noticed the search feature bit rigid on windows 7 operating system as I have recently upgraded my machine from the windows xp to windows 7. It was very much easy in Windows Vista to search in an entire computer for a file which has a size larger then 1 Mb and modified after a particular date. Can somebody give me the proper procedure by which I can do this on Windows 7?

Depending on the location of your search, only some search filters are available. For example, if you look in the Documents library, you'll search filters different from those used in the library images. You won't be able to state the search filters that you observe but you would be able to vary the file type whose library is optimized. This action will alter the search filters accessible when searching in the library.
