    Ubuntu vs Easy Debian

Search to install a complete Linux distro. Like the effortlessness with which simple debian can be installed and run from within the operating system but I have always been an ubuntu man and I am making guesswork as you are booting it separate it will be to some extent quicker than easy debian. Can someone tell me the pros and cons of the two given options , how they are different from each other ?

Nevertheless, Debian has a non-free repository which comprises things like suitable drivers or pov-ray, and a contrib repository for packages which in it are DFSG-free, but rely on something in non-free or outer Debian. This is the cause why FSF does not formally suggest Debian as a free distribution. However, Debian's major archive is the only one allowed by default, and it is fully DFSG-free and totally self- controlled and this is why it is scheduled as a "free as in freedom" distribution .

Software freedom status have been there in Ubuntu since the very start. The idea is to give non-free drivers only in scenario that complimentary drivers do not subsist or are of considerably of lower superiority. Ubuntu renders a monit when enabling proprietary drives, giving users the liberty not to make use of them. Debian remains very sternly to free software viewpoints. It is composed completely of Free Software .

Debian is a steady, mature and well-liked operating system. It put forwards an exceptional package management tool -- APT and the biggest free application repository of all operating systems out there. Very configurable and (after some work) a very responsive Operating system S. It does however need a bit of awareness. In the regular Debian distro, you get just what you require and it gives you more config choice on its ncurses based installer (just like an Ubuntu option install).
