Hey there,
I have a major problem with one of my laptops which I need to fix as soon as possible. Originally I was doing a complete wipe of my laptop, however, half way through we had a power cut and the laptop turned off. So now I have turned on the machine and it says "BOOTMGR is missing, press CTRL + ALT + DEL to restart". So I do this, and it simply comes back to this screen. I have tried holding down/repeatedly pressing F8 to bring up the repair menu, but it does nothing.
On top of that I have no recovery discs for the machine which really makes me worry. The machine itself is a Vista Premier Advent 2GB machine. I cannot think of what else to do without a recovery disc/insurance to get it sent off. Can you guys suggest anything which could help me? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
THANKS!
David J.
