Hi friends, I had downloaded and upgraded Windows 7 from Technet and set up it on one of the computer system in our workplace. It is lying on a Windows Server 2003 domain. The whole thing works absolutely well apart from one of the thing that we are unable to turn off the Windows Firewall. It is present just in for domain; the thing is that for the home and private we can shut it off but it is not allowed for the domain. I've tried many things also I tried configuring it in Group policy and also removed the registry key to no benefit. Here there is no policy set on the Domain level which influences the firewall. I tried disabling firewall into the default domain policy, and that worked on the XP machines but obviously the Windows 7 machine was undamaged. I want to turn the firewall off in order to get several other additional software to work. Anyone have any ideas how could I disable the firewall.
