Error Code 0xC004F074 while Activating Windows 7 KMS Clients

Hi friends, I find the activation error message when I try to activate Windows 7 Clients on to my own network. My creation server is a Windows 2008 Service Pack 2 Standard host and I male use of the Windows 2008 Standard key to activate the KMS server. I have not less than 5 Windows 2008 KMS clients that activated presently fine off of it. Vista systems revisit insufficient activation error counts which I suppose, I don't quite have sufficient systems so far, but the Windows 7 clients return the error code 0xC004F074 which I didn't imagine. I want to know is it because of the Windows 2008 KMS Server Key? Or Do I need to change that to a Windows 7 (or Windows 2008 R2) key before Windows 7 can start activating off of it?

To install KMS follow these steps. Note down that verify whether the edition of Windows Server 2003 that you want to update is maintained. To do this, view the "Applies To" section for a list of editions that is supported.
1. Make use of the Kmsw2k3.exe programs to install KMS client for Windows Server, if it is not previously set upped. After it run the KB968915.exe update file.

When activating a Windows 7 client beside Windows 2008 KMS server. The following explanation is in fact useful for this error.
1. What you do is first uninstall KMS license Key on to the host - slmgr.vbs /upk
2. Now you set up Windows Server 2008 R2 KMS license key - slmgr.vbs /ipk <Your Key>
3. Start KMS server online: slmgr.vbs /ato. I hope it is helpful.

Validate this, setting up the R2 key to NON R2 server, solves the difficulty. This certainly must be recognized anywhere. Also the other way is, the most easiest way to resolve this difficulty is to verify time sync. Your client machine time should be in sync with the activation server. Also i suggest you is that the KMS 1.2 update is the individual thing for the Windows 2003 KMS, it's not the release for Windows Server 2008. If the count is under 25 for Windows 7, the KMS clients will not activate.
