Backup stops at 25% on a CD/DVD drive

I don't know what's wrong with it and why the backup stops at 25 percent only. I have inserted a blank disk to take a backup on the same but i am not able to do so. The thing here is that whenever the process starts it stops exactly on 25% only and really don't know why the same number. Does anyone ever have faced this issue if yes then please let me know hoe to solve the issue. Well i am using windows 7 operating system working on the Intel dual core processor.

I think that the disk that you have insert is not a black or it may be a multisession disk. And when you are trying to burn the same disk for the backup then the memory fells less for the same. So what you have to do in this case is that use a disk which is a branded one and also a blank because it may happen that the disk seems to be black to you but is the corrupted one.

Well I think you have to just install the put the system on the clean boot mode. I feel that the third party application must be causing you this error. Clean boot means you have to disable all third party application and start only the windows 7 operating system and then try and take the backup definitely you will not receive any errors this time. I hope that taking backup through the clean boot mode will help you to solve the issue.

I have gone through you are problem and it seems to me that that security essentials are not letting you to take the backup. And if you want to take the backup on the CD or DVD or any external drive then you have to just disable the security software and then try to take the backup. I am sure that disabling the security software will help you to resolve the issue.
