    Windows 2008 Vpn Problem

    Hellow,
I recently installed a Windows 2008 SBS standard server and I am trying to connect to it via VPN. I am using a windows 7 laptop and the connection is completed successfully but the IP assigned to the connection is the same as the server's. So I can't really use the VPN connection. I couldn't find any information about this issue. I have installed and used VPN on 2003 with no problem. I am new to windows 2008. I will appreciate any help.

    Re: Windows 2008 Vpn Problem

Well , You cannot assign same IP to the connection same as the server's IP address. Otherwise there will be an IP address conflict and the VPN connection will not be accessible to you. Hence i would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned in the following threads to setup your VPN connection. Configure your Computer to Accept VPN Connections in Windows 7
