GTX 580 Not working with windows 7

I just newly got my GTX 580 and decided to format my hard drive and perform a spotless setup of windows 7 professional, while I finished the setup I went right away and downloaded the most recent driver for the GTX 580, later than CPU started again, my resolution was at the lowest and could not discover the Nvidia control panel from right clicking the mouse and went into program list to observe if it was there and all I could perceive was the 3d software. I went into my devices and my graphic card was there that is GTX 580 but with a yellow questioning mark on it. It says driver is advanced and that the card is not utilizing any resource, something like that. I reformatted once more. Attempted by utilizing the CD driver first and after that would update later, while the whole thing was working, it stopped 1by10 of the way later than telling me that if I required to carry on installing the driver even though it was not recognized by windows 7, I clicked yes reopened to setup another time, it said the CPU required to restart. Upon restart, it went into windows 7 fix, windows 7 could not fix, and start again and it was a loop, now I am reformatting about to quit.

I just go through your problem and just want to ask you a few questions: Did you have it working earlier than you re-installed Microsoft Windows 7, or has it not at all worked? And which Antec 1000W PSU are you utilizing? Because to know your problem correctly and to solve it correctly, I just require a few information. That defiantly helps to solve your issue.

I also have the similar problem and while see your post, I feel that here my problem must be solve. I still not worked yet. I am utilizing the antec 1000W Quattro, I did not know there was an additional types. While typing this message, my computer was starting again from a third try of installing the driver, it worked. My resolution is at 1900 x 1200. Let’s wish this is an everlasting thing. The just thing this time was I detached two of my memory sticks leaving the computer at 2 GB while setup. I am going to put the rest back and wish not anything awful occurs.

Here the resolution for your trouble. HDD was dishonest. Took one more hard drive which was formatted and setup the whole thing wonderfully, going to do a whole format of my velociraptor and wish that will fix the trouble. Thanks to everyone for all your assist and I still require to know how to make sure if I am utilizing different rails.
