XP simulation in Windows 7 Ultimate x64

I've often read that it is possible in Windows 7 Ultimate Windows XP simulate. This I would also like to do now because my computer does not play old games and not even my old printer + scanner detects. But how does it work? Do I have to download extra because what? I've already googled but found nothing useful.

If you have an expensive Windows 7 editions then you can install the Windows XP mode. Otherwise, you can also install XP in a virtual machine (Virtualbox provided as / license). For playing older 3D titles, offerings not usually. For old DOS honey is recommended rather the DOS box. So regarding this I have only this much information and I am sure if regarding this I get any further information on this then immediately I will post it over here.

Although I have only Windows 7 Home Premium, but I had to make probably know this in a game, answer this: On the shortcut from the game with the right mouse button and then click Properties. Then on top of the tab for compatibility. Then the compatibility mode to tick PROGRAMME compatibility mode for: and select the last operating system. Do not forget to save. I hope I could help.

Re: XP simulation in Windows 7 Ultimate x64

So I use Windows XP Professional in the new VirtualBox Beta 2 (Beta 1 on Windows 7 was not x64) on a Windows 7 x64 Professional installation and Windows XP as guest with the new beta feels like 10x times faster. I play on it but no games, no idea if it reaches the speed. However, it has long been VirtualBox 3D driver for Windows XP. (Although the test phase are yet.) The USB devices are FUNZ but not so likely. My old scanner is not recognized by Windows 7 and I suspect that VirtualBox so the scanner cannot forward it to the guest.

If he take the VirtualBox, but before that he would have to buy XP. In the XP mode of WIN 7, the license would be included. Download the XP mode, and a description of the installation sequence is found in Microsoft's site. So if you want then you are also able to check like this over here. And regarding this if you want any further information so you can ask me over here.
