This behavior can occur because NetBIOS over Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) is disabled. To resolve this behavior, you must enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP, by performing the following steps:

    1. Open Device Manager.
    2. On the View menu, click to select the Show hidden devices check box.
    3. Double-click Non-Plug and Play Drivers.
    4. Double-click NetBIOS over Tcpip.
    5. In the Device usage box, click Use this device (enable).

I would suggest by turning up logging on the System Attendant and then try to
check it and see what is being logged in the Application Log. As it is been done you may then be able to get the thing to know what is causing the problem actually. It will be helpful for you. So look out.
