What Alt + key makes a checkmark?

I am having small query which might be sounds silly but still i wanted to know whether the there is any alt+key combo option is available for Checkmark in the Windows XP Professional. I am using keyboard for most of the operation as i am used to it. So if any one is having the knowledge regarding the same then please let me know about it. Thank you.

As you are looking for the shortcut to checkmark the checkbox then i will advise you to check whether use the TAB key and the Spacebar for same as there is no shortcut for Alt+ Keys. Just press tab key to go to the option and then press spacebar which will tick the checkbox or the readio box. So do the same as it will work for it.

But having one more problem which is related to the Windows Live Mail. I wanted to know about the Shortcut Keyboard keys for operating the Windows Live Mail. Please help me with the same.
