Often confused "Javascript" with "java" because of their very similar names, but this is not the same thing. What concerns us here is Javascript. JavaScript is a language for manipulating web content has become almost essential for surfing. It is supported by the browser itself (not a separate software like Java). To enable in Internet Explorer:

    1. Tools / Internet Options
    2. Security tab
    3. Verify that the Internet zone is selected, then either
    4. Set the security level to Medium-high (recommended) then click OK.

I will suggest you to manually change the settings on javascript:
    1. Click the Custom Level button
    2. Down (very far) in the scrolling list of items to the menu item Script
    3. Under this heading down to Active Scripting setting
    4. Select Enabled
    5. Validate the Security Settings dialog (click button)
    6. Validate the Internet Options dialog (click button)

I advise not to change anything else without knowing what you do.

As far as i know You simply need to uninstall the older version of Java which is installed on your system by default (either from the control panel, or with a program like CCleaner ). And then you should reinstall the java application after the uninstallation again. But this time the reinstallation should be of the latest version so be careful to recheck the version. Hope that this will help you to get this problem resolved.
