Win XP does not boot in VM Virtual Box on Win7

Hi there,

I am currentlz trying to run win XP with Oracle Virtual Box on a HP dv4-2145dx on Win 7 64Bit.

When the Virtual Machine starts, I get the following message>

I do not have a big knowledge on this things and I am totally lost.
Can anybody help?

I think that you need to create a new virtual machine and install Windows XP in it. If you're trying to start up an existing VHD that you made to boot real hardware with, it's not likely to work because of the hardware differences. Have you set up your hardware correctly to run Virtualbox with a 32-bit guest on a 64-bit host? Download the Oracle VM VirtualBox User Manual from here
