I am facing the problems while installing the mp3 drivers of the Wharfedale. I am trying to install it on my system which is having operating system as Windows Vista. I have tried to install the drivers forcefully also but in vain. So I thought that I would get some help from your side. Please tell me some solution that can help me fixing the problem.

There are many issues regarding the Wharfedale mp3 driver that too with the Windows Vista. According to me there should be some compatibility issue of the Wharfedale mp3 drivers and operating system of Windows Vista that's why many are facing problems. The only way I can suggest you is to change your operating system. Because according to me even updating the drivers will not solve the issue. So better to change an operating system.

Even I would like to suggest you to switch your operating system from Windows Vista to Windows XP because I have also observed that there are many issues with the Wharfedale drivers when it comes with Vista.!! So according to me the better option would be switching your OS to some other. Else you can also try it with old versions of Windows like Windows 98 or Windows ME. If it is getting installed over there then surely it is issue of compatibility with the current OS.

I was having the similar problem and ultimately got it working doing the following things :
    1. Go to the Control Panel and then select then select option 'Hardware and Sound'.
    2. Then select the ''Portable devices'', and then locate your device.
    3. Select the MP3 player.
    4. Then from the General/Driver/details tabs selecting 'Driver' and then selecting 'update driver'.

You can do these things only if you are connected to Internet.
