No Windows 7 E edition coming

Hi, i am a Windows Vista user. Suddenly i found a post regarding Windows 7 E edition on this community. I found it interesting and tried to find some more info. While searching for some more info, i found that this edition has been canceled . Is that true ?

Yeah, Windows 7 E edition came in light last year somewhere around July that it is going to be released in Europe specially. But now there is news about its cancellation. Microsoft explains that although lacking the approval of European antitrust regulator of its proposal to provide a screen to choose the web browser, it has welcomed the proposal and that should indicate that the strategy undertaken by Microsoft is now the right way to avoid legal problems.

Microsoft officially announced the cancellation of the special edition for Europe, "E", with the distribution of the same version worldwide although Europe will form the web browser of choice. While still lacking the regulator of competition in Europe for approval to the idea of including the selection of the browser window, in the company are confident that this will happen (especially if we think the idea was born of the regulatory entity).

Microsoft has decided to sell the same version of Windows 7 in Europe and the rest of the world. Redmond responds particularly to computer manufacturers that do not enjoy having to deploy different versions of one region to another.

Thats very sad news for Europeans .It appears that Microsoft has collected complaints from hardware makers that they should install two versions of Windows 7 within a few months, with the publication "E" and another by Microsoft's proposal was approved.
