You need to check Windows XP BOOT.INI file that to determine if the computer reboot (boot) process can be displayed in the selected operating system type. In general, it is located under the root directory C, the default is a hidden read only file system configuration. To view it, as long as remove the hidden attribute, you can use Notepad to open it, you can also "Start" to run msconfig.exe, in the pop-up "System Configuration Utility" dialog box, click the "BOOT.INI" election Item cards can glimpse their true colors. All the best.

There are two valid values component parts, namely, multi, and SCSI, which used to mark the hardware adapter. that a non-SCSI hard disk multi or a SCSI BIOS access SCSI hard drives, and SCSI is that SCSI BIOS of a SCSI hard drive prohibited. X value, said operating system root partition where the hard disk where the disk controller is located on the same disk controller number ( X starting from 0 ) disk : For SCSI hard disk is, Y value, said operating system root partition where the hard disk where the disk controller on the same hard disk serial number (Y starting at 0); for multi is, Y value without any meaning, constant to 0. rdisk (Z): For multi speaking, Z value indicates the operating system root partition where the hard disk where the disk controller on the same hard disk serial number (Z from 0); for the SCSI hard disk is, Z value meaningless, constant to 0. Do you need to check this.

You need to install the OS with GHOST with the FAT32 disk format that is very effective, But it is said on the NTFS disk format support is not so good, I do not personally have tried, XP/2003 may not support the chipset change, in other words, If you installed XP/2003, block board has changed, Then the likelihood to re-install the system, at least I have not seen so far, after changing motherboard XP /2003 can work properly (blue screen error), FAT32 format is the same.2000 seems to no good, anyway seen one blue screen in 2000 for backward motherboard failure. Here are just reminding you of this, back up ahead of time to work So as not to happy to upgrade the computer, only to cry cannot find places.
