Import Mpeg2 Files In iMovie

Hello, I am having Sony HardDiskRecorder DCR-SR75E and if you are making use of it, then it will simply create the Mpeg2 files. And I am getting problem due to that as iMovie is not able to open Mpeg2 files. If you are having any solution for that then please provide that to me. Hello, you need to follow the steps below:

• if you are having iMovie 08 or 09 then you must need to import the footage which will simply convert it to AIC.
• Then you must need to use the mpegstreamclip and then you can use that use it to transcode into AIC or some other format supported by your version of iMovie.
• Then you can simply use the volatile HD and it will simply convert that.
• Then you will able to get the Final cut Express 4 and use it as per your requirement.
