You are having the desktop computer with the Windows XP and the Windows 7 operating system. And this desktop system is not booting in the Windows 7 operating system after you deleted the Windows XP partition from your desktop system. I think the boot manager file got deleted with the Windows XP partition from the system.

This type of booting issue often comes when there are more than one operating system is there in the desktop computer system. Because there is some problem with the boot files of the two operating system which cause this booting issue. So you will have to repair the booting file. If you do not how to resolve the problem then you should contact to the computer engineer.

You are not able to boot the desktop in the Windows 7 operating system after deleting the Windows XP operating system from the desktop computer system. First of all try to boot the desktop computer system in the safe windows mode. If it is starting then run the system restore wizard. This will fix the boot issue of the desktop in Windows 7 operating system.

This type of the issue comes more often when you dual boot the desktop or laptop and delete one of the operating systems from the desktop and the laptop. To resolve this problem you will need to have the installation disc of the operating system which you desktop currently has. In your case Windows 7 operating system. If you are not having because without it the issue will not be resolved.

Insert the Installation disc of the Windows 7 operating system in the DVD drive of your desktop computer system and go to the advance start up option by pressing the f8 key on the keyboard. After that select the start-up options and select the repair booting of the desktop. This will resolve the problem of booting in your desktop of the Windows 7 operating system.
