Re: Hyper-V Cluster, ARP table problem
The aim of this paper is to detail the implementation of one of the major new features of Hyper-V on Windows Server 2008 R2. This feature called Live Migration is placed in direct competition with VMware's VMotion and helps maintain the availability of virtual machines during maintenance operations on server virtualization. It can be tricky on a virtualized infrastructure, to be forced to stop the virtual machines during a maintenance operation on the physical server requiring a reboot. The objective is to enable switching from one virtual machine from one physical server to another seamlessly without the slightest interruption of service.
