It appears as your system has been infected badly and some of the files seems to be corrupted so the best solution to get rid of this error is to install an antivirus application which can remove the harmful viruses and then update the virus definition and scan your system for removing those threats from the system.

You need to follow the steps which are mentioned below

    * Insert the windows XP cd in the cd rom.
    * When the blue screen appears press R to start the recovery process
    * The system will start working as soon as the recovery completes.
    * Reboot the system once after the recovery process.

Thanks for the replies but i am not able to install an antivirus application since whenever i try to install the antivirus application on my system it always result in to an error message. The repair also could not be completed because when i insert the recovery cd and press the R key then it starts for some time and then reboots again.

The system must have infected very badly and hence you cannot install the antivirus program on your system. Try to install the safe mode. Also if you cannot install the antivirus application in the safe mode then finally you have a single option left to reformat and reinstall the windows XP on your machine.
