Need Help With Question on Partitions Windows 7

I have recently purchased a laptop and discovered that it came with a version of Windows 7 French. I have purchased a Windows 7 professional English, and just finished installing it. During the installation process, it asked which partition for me to install the new Windows 7 English, and I tried to install it over the Windows 7 French, however, it would not allow me to "update" due to the languages not matching up. So I installed on a new partition. Now I would like to delete the old partition which has the French Windows 7. Can anyone please provide any insight on how to go about doing that?

Here are the simple steps for removing the partition
1. First start your window 7 which you want to delete
2. Then insert the Window 7 DVD
3. Now run the command prompt
4. Type the following command and press enter
[DVD Drive Letter]:\boot\bootsect.exe /nt52 ALL /force

just keep one thing in mind that if DVD drive is E: then you have to enter

E:\boot\bootsect.exe /nt52 ALL /force

This step just deletes the boot menu for selecting operating system at the time start

You need to go to Computer Management in Administrative Tools, then close the Administrative Tools window. In the left pane under Storage, click on Disk Management. In the middle pane, right click on the partition that you want to delete and click on Delete Volume. you also try to go into the partition manager (type in search bar) and assign them letters.
