    Invisible icon in the dock

    Hi,

I have a invisible icon in my dock, i have posted the screenshot below.

Have repaired permissions. I did a search, I was advised to empty the cache but I do not know what to delete the Caches folder inside.

Thank you for your ideas and support.

Icons have disappeared in the dock

The icons have disappeared after I open the application. Now, since restarts when I click on other applications, the icons no longer disappear. The icons are invisible but still clickable ...

The icons are missing: iTunes, Idi Amin, Safari, Adobe Fireworks ...

Recently I installed drivers for my Epson printer and a safari adblock plugin.

In the Applications folder, is icons available there?

Have you tried to drag icons out of the dock, and then reopen them again?

    Try out this:

    1. Right click on the invisible icon and chose 'Options - Show in Finder' then 'Options - Remove from Dock'.
    2. Reboot the app from the Finder window then choose 'Options - Keep in Dock' and move the icon back to its original place.
    3. This should immediately correct the problem.

I suspect that the com.apple.dock.db and/or com.apple.dock.plist files are corrupt. Try moving both these files to the desktop, then logging out and back in. These files can be found in ~/Library/Preferences, where ~ is your home directory.

Removing these files will reset your dock back to its default state.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks for help

    It's good problem solved.

I remove the icons in the Dock stupidly, and I passed them. I restart and everything seems to work.

The alternative is to copy/paste on the desktop "com.apple.dock.db" and /or "com.apple.dock.plist" and to delete the Preferences and restart.
