Dictation trouble in any word processors with Windows Vista's built-in Speech Recognition Software

Hi!

Alright, so I recently decided to play around with my Speech Recognition software, particularly to use it for dictation.

However, I cannot for the life of me seem to get dictation working in anything. I am able to do everything but dictate. Instead, if I want to type something, I must say "Press" followed by each individual key.

I have enabled "Dictation everywhere" but this has not changed anything.

Help?
