Windows 7 THemes

Hi I have installed Windows7 in the last few days, I duly picked a nice desktop picture as the windows one is drab. All was going well until the computer rebooted and now I have no theme on the screen witch the screen is now black and the theme folder looks like it may be corrupt. Pictures of themes in folder are odd as well, I look at other themes they appear to be black as well. So firstly has anyone experienced this? if so has anyone found a fix? I is rather annoying as I don't want to reinstall windows 7 again then start installing programs etc.

so if some kind person has a fix for my problem please get back to me.

Check the drivers for the graphic adapter if they are working properly or not. The problem which you have described seems to be like the graphic driver issue. If there are any caution signs against graphic adapter then follow the troubleshooting procedure. If it does not help then try upgrading the display drivers.
