How do we run chkdsk as an administrator?

Okay well I am new to this Windows 7 which I installed like few days back. I was using Windows XP and everything was working fine, and one fine day I thought of installing Windows 7. And it was installed fine and there was no issue with it. I mean everything is working fine on the system, but I have a small doubt, Ho do we run a program as an administrator within the Command window. Somehow Windows corrupted my SD card and wants to reformat it. (I was not even writing to the card. Just in and out of sleep mode with the card inserted in the reader).

Anyway, I am trying to recover the card with the chkdsk command but I need Administrator rights to run it and there is no 'right-click Run as administrator' option in the menu.
Can someone please help me out.

    Well don't worry that's easy.
You have to Right click on 'Command Prompt' and then click on 'Run as Administrator'.
Anything you then run in the 'Command Window' should have 'Administrator Rights'.
See it's very easy, no need to worry.

Hey thanks a lot for that tip.
I don't know whats wrong with my SD card. I tried all the possible tricks and ways to repair it but was not able to.
Chkdsk does not repair cards detected as RAW type.
Are there any Software's or applications available which can solve this error.?

Well yeah there are software's available which you can use to recover files from your SD Card.
The software which I know is Active@ File Recovery, this will surely help you out.
download the demo version which is free and see if it is able to recover files from your SD card.
