How to recover password in windows 7

Hi,

Recently i bought a new sony laptop which is come with Windows 7 operating system. It have two login id one is from administrator and another is from my name. I have able to login from admin id but i forget what is the password of my login, Can i recover this or any solution, Please help???

If you cannot log on to Windows 7 by using your account, but you can log on to admin account, follow these steps on how to do recover:
# Log in as admin to your system,
# type Then click on start and go to run.
# control userpasswords2 on the run windows and click OK.
# Then click your user account and click on reset password.
# Type the new password and click OK.
# Restart your system.

You can also try these step to Log in with any valid account:
# Login as admin account or any account.
# Go to command prompt as type CMD on run.
# Then type net user on command window.
# Then you will get a list of accounts.
# Type net user Administrator *
# or you can also type net user (any account on that list) *
# it prompted for a password.
# Enter the new password and enter it again when prompted to confirm.
# Restart the windows.

You can also recover forgotten password by using “Reset Disk”. Windows 7 version provide this method to reset the password but it will works only if you created a Password Reset Disk in past. If you want to know the steps , Please visit

I am using windows Password Key 8.0 for recovering the password from Windows 7. It is considered as the best tool to reset local administrator and user passwords on any Windows system.
