How to force quit MAC system

Recently I installed a online game on my MAC computer. The game after running connects to online server and then downloads some file. It works for sometime and then got hanged in between. I am not able to shutdown MAC properly. Under such conditions what should I do. It is better to force quit it. How to force quit mac. Please post some proper suggestions for this.

In your computer if you are using the Mac OS X in most of the application the system get hang or freeze. You will no it as you see the spinning pinwheel cursor. It will be hanged for more the a minutes. In the most of the case you can see that, but this will not affect the any of the part of the computer. The only thing it can do is it will slow the system.

It may be finder or any other processes. then the finder will relaunch after the force quit. If it is a classic environment then all will go away. To enlarge the force quit window there are many way for the application of the force quit. First you have to select the force quit from the Apple menu. If you do not get this then you have to click on the other application in the menu and you will get the Apple menu which will work. Then you will see the Force Quit Applications window.
