Re: Hide Drives From My Computer

HI, I don't think that there would be any such setting available by which you can able to do this. As when you search for the options it wont show any such type of option for the drive in my computer. So, I don't think that this would be possible in Windows xp. So, you need to hide the folders from the drive, so even though there are drive one will not able to view the data from the hard drive.

Re: Hide Drives From My Computer

I have searched for this on internet, but it don't show any type of help which will make help for you to get any type of solution to hide drives from My computer. So, I don't think that this would be possible to do. You can use other type of options such as making use of Folder Lock software which will help you to secure your drives. If you make whole drive password protected then it wont be open without providing the password. So, make use of such third party software to achieve the same.

Hi, I don't know such type of setting, but I think that you can do this by making some changes into the registry. I don't know how to achieve this, but you can search on internet about this. I think that you need to search for registry setting for this purpose. As I don't think that this will be possible by making any small setting, you need to do the registry setting for this.

If you don't want to do registry editing, then try to search in google about hiding drives using group policy. It's user-friendly. But hiding drives using the regedit is quicker. Well you have the options.
