    Close source and Open source

    Hey friend,

I am using two operating system Microsoft Windows and Linux together but i am not aware of the term Closed source and open source used by the Microsoft Windows and Linux respectively, so that i can use the same. I hope this is the right place to ask this question.

Can anyone tell me that which one is better.

Lets discuss about the Closed source as it is used by the Windows Operating system. It is used for the development of the source code. This software does not allow anyone to change or use the source code publicly and also not shared by others. Its is completely opposite of the the Open source. The companies which are using this software for the money purpose so that nobody can access the software without their permission

    Hey,

As per my knowledge, the Open source the source code is available for the public so that any one can access the same. This is just a computer program used by the most of the developer to develop the Software. Its like using a free software. Open source software are used with Linux.

    Thank You...

Re: Close source and Open source

According to me it depend on the organization or people using the software. If they don't want their software to public they can use the Closed source and the organization who wants to issue their software as public they can use the Open source. But with the security point of view its better to use the close source to restrict the access.
